A Week of Architectural Wonders – Open House 2025
From November 10 to 16, 2025, Palma de Mallorca will host Open House Palma 2025, a vibrant week-long festival dedicated to architecture, design, and urban life. This event invites locals and visitors alike to see the city through a new lens — discovering hidden corners, historic treasures and modern creations.
Over the weekend of November 15–16, 61 buildings across Palma—from centuries-old landmarks to contemporary studios—will open their doors to the public for free, offering a rare peek inside spaces normally closed or reserved for insiders.
But the experience goes beyond mere visits. Throughout the week, a dynamic program of guided walks (“Open Walks”) and talks will explore topics such as architecture’s role in city identity, mental health, and urban well-being. Special routes will traverse neighborhoods like Son Gotleu and La Soledat, while a dedicated Josep Ferragut Route celebrates the legacy of the renowned Mallorcan architect.
This year, a special Architecture & Mental Health Day will delve into how the built environment affects emotional and psychological wellness — a cutting-edge theme connecting design with human experience.
Entry is free, though certain guided events may require prior registration. The full program and registration details will be published on November 6.
Whether you’re an architecture aficionado or simply curious about your city, Open House Palma 2025 offers a unique, inspiring way to explore Palma’s spirit through its buildings, stories, and people.
