New routes, more restaurants and tapas, tasty cocktails and lots of fun. The annual tapas and cocktail festival TaPalma<\/strong> will once again lure locals and visitors to the tapas bars of the island\u2019s capital from the 25th of November to the 1st of December<\/strong>. They come to taste traditional and contemporary tapas and cocktail creations. Don\u2019t miss this unique event!<\/br><\/p>\n

TaPalma<\/strong>, a tapas and, for two years now, cocktail festival, will take place in Palma once again this year. About 40 bars and restaurants on several routes will participate offering their most delicious, reasonably priced tapas and cocktail creations. In each restaurant you can taste different tapas, usually for 1,50 Euro to 2,00 Euro. Soft drinks, beer or wine and delicious cocktails are also available.<\/br><\/p>\n

Are you a meat lover, vegetarian or do you have an insatiable sweet tooth? Don\u2019t worry, you are living on the right island. Mallorca offers the perfect combination for a flavourful living.The routes through Palma usually cover the areas of Central Palma, Palma Beach, Santa Catalina and Paseo Mar\u00edtimo. As well as La Lonja, Blanquerna, G\u00e9nova and Mercado de San Juan. So grab your friends and hop from one bar to the next one, enjoying tasty tapas, a glass of wine or beer or even a great cocktail.<\/br><\/p>\n

It should be noted that the participating establishments of last years edition of TaPalma<\/strong>, an event that manages to energise the city at the beginning of the low season, sold more than 40,000 plates of tapas in four days!<\/br><\/p>\n

The new edition, which will bring together the best chefs and bartenders on the island, will hold the tapas and cocktails contest on 25th November at the Palau de Congressos de Palma while the culinary and cocktail route will take place from 27th November until 1st December through the city. This year\u2019s edition is full of new features, among which is the new image of the event \u2013 where the protagonist is a human heart which has been bitten and pinned.<\/br><\/p>\n

The champion of \u2018Pinchos y Tapas\u2019<\/strong> Spain, Igor Rodr\u00edguez, will also preside over the jury of the chefs. He explained that \u201cwith TaPalma, we want to show the great professionals and gastronomic artists we have. In addition, regional television channel IB3 will broadcast the contest live on 25th November from 16:00 p.m. to 20:00.<\/br><\/p>\n

\u201cGastronomy and cocktails is something that is done with the heart, from the depths of our being. The goal is to revitalise the city for a few days. But also to position Mallorca, and very specifically its capital, as a focal point of Spanish gastronomy. TaPalma<\/strong> each year offers new features and surprises, with a single objective. Increasing the number of visitors, as well as the quality and professionalism of the tapas and cocktails presented. The purpose of the tapas festival is to continue supporting a vital sector in the daily economic activity.<\/br><\/p>\n
