The restaurant &#8220;Es Verger&#8221; must be experienced. There is a popular hiking route to the castle of Alar\u00f3. The owner Franziska can look book on several decades of cooking experience and serves a simple and honest cuisine like snails in garlic sauce, fried pork with potatoes and vegetables or the tasty bread soup. This rustic restaurant is to be described &#8220;authentic&#8221;, depending on the position of the viewer or &#8220;grubby&#8221;. On the terrace you sit on plastic chairs and sometimes you have to wait a long time to get served by the mainly older service staff.
