Each year, end of july, the village of S’Arraco, near Port Andratx in south west Mallorca, is host to a Nit de l’Art S’Arraco<\/a>. This is one of the popular art events on the island when the village is transformed into a wonderful open art night where more than three thousand people come to view and to buy art from\u00a0local artists and others from all over the island.\u00a0The residents of S’Arraco offer up the front of their houses, garages and any other space they might have for a select group of artists to display and sell their work. Still locally and little commercialized. In addition, the motto of art has expanded to include tapas and music.
